Did you ever notice the power of Touch?
Touch at a loss
Touch in time of trouble
Touch of congratulations
Touch of love
If OUR touch can help . . . imagine what JESUS’ touch can do.

Jesus healed many people by touching the sick portion of their body
He touched the deaf man’s tongue
He touched the blind man’s eyes
He touched the Leper’s skin

Likewise, people sought healing by touching Jesus.
The woman in today’s Gospel reading. She did it; she reached out to touch Jesus.
The walking sick did it; they brought to Him people on stretchers.

Today, we feel a strong desire to touch Jesus or to be touched by Him. Like those who came before us, we must do as they did. How? Where? The one way we can fill this desire is in the sacraments . . .

Whatever the situation – Come; Come to the water; Come without cost; Come all who are tired; COME.
