PALM SUNDAY

On Palm Sunday, we come face to face with Jesus in the hours up to his death. We witness the culmination of Jesus’ ministry, a ministry marked by conflicts with political and religious authorities. Up until this point, no blood has been shed. But things change when Jesus enters Jerusalem for the final time, and we begin Holy Week by recalling these events. As we gather this week, we do so not just to recall past events, BUT we gather so we can more deeply enter Jesus’ passion and learn what it means for us today.
